Earlier this month, @todayisnew (known offline as Eric) became the first hacker ever to hit 100,000 reputation points on HackerOne. Congratulations, todayisnew!

In honor of this landmark milestone, HackerOne is thrilled to reveal three exciting updates:

Giveaway

The first, a giveaway! Starting tomorrow, we’ll be raffling off 100 one-month PentesterLab subscriptions. To enter, simply participate in either the livestream or 100K Capture The Flag (CTF) described below. To see if you’re a winner, follow along on Twitter to stay up to date with the latest.

Livestream

We are also hosting a live AMA on the HackerOne Twitch channel featuring todayisnew himself. This session will be hosted by HackerOne’s Head of Hacker Education Ben Sadeghipour (NahamSec) on June 2, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. PT. We’ll seek to answer all your burning questions and uncover how todayisnew achieved his hacking success.

To submit a question in advance and enter to win a PentesterLab subscription, simply fill out the form here.

100K CTF

Of course, it’s not a real celebration without a CTF. Starting June 2, 2021, at 10:00 AM PT, we’ll launch a CTF and scavenger hunt based on todayisnew’s best vulnerabilities.

Winners of the 100k CTF will receive a $100 bounty and be selected based on the following criteria:

  • First five to find all flags and submit them on HackerOne
  • The three most creative write-ups
  • The best automated report
  • One picked at random

More information will be available on the official h1-ctf landing page over the next few days.

Let’s Get Hacking

Congratulations todayisnew on this incredible feat.

In the words of todayisnew: May it be well with you on your side of the screen.
